Navy Releases Latest Version of CICADA Drone with 3D Printed Fuselage

The Navy has released yet another version of their Close-In Covert Autonomous Disposable Aircraft, also known as the CICADA drone. The US Naval Lab has been working on these drones since 2011, with the latest version featuring a 3D printed fuselage allowing for easy assembly and affordability. The CICADAs can be dropped from the air in groups, sent down to their destinations to collect data via installed sensors and GPS systems.
