Researchers 3D Print New CO2NCRETE Material from Carbon Emissions

Lately it seems as if it's best just to assume that 3D printing will change everything eventually. Sweeping through nearly every sector, offering incredible benefits—and transformation—now we hear that researchers from UCLA are able to take carbon emissions from concrete factory smokestacks, capture them, and 3D print them into an altogether new and better material called CO₂NCRETE. As the team points out, they are hoping to go far past just creating a new material with their superior upcycling however. They hope to create a new technology to be used around the world—especially in China and India too—that will tackle the enormous concerns regarding greenhouse gases.
