Designer Creates Dress With 150 3D Printed Butterflies

While the 2017 Vancouver Fashion Week is gearing up to offer a fabulous experience for visitors from March 20-26th, undoubtedly many eyes will be on Australian designer Charne Esterhuizen's dress, adorned with 150 3D printed butterflies. Each butterfly took 5.5 hours to 3D print and with the amount of time, effort, and materials that went into the process, it’s estimated that the value of the dress is around $90K.
