WIP: Destiny Warlock and Hunter Cosplay

I'm currently working on a Warlock and Hunter cosplay for an upcoming convention here in Alabama. I'll be going as the Warlock, and my friend will be the Hunter. I've been making WIP posts on my Tumblr.

The armor and weapons are based on the original game models, which can be found at http://www.destinystlgenerator.com. I then used Autodesk Meshmixer to rescale and hollow out the models. I also had to add a variety of reinforcements, brackets, and strap holders to make them wearable. Using a Kinect as a 3D scanner was a big help in ensuring a proper fit before printing.

All of these parts were printed on a MakerGear M2 using Hatchbox silver PLA. 0.15mm layers, 10% infill. All of these models have been sliced for support-free printing. For fellow Destiny players, our loadout will be as follows.

Hunter:
Full Vault of Glass raid set, Dead Orbit cloak, Thorn hand cannon, and default Hunter knife.

Warlock:
Mostly Dead Orbit gear, though the helm is a Tengu Operant IV and the rifle is a Conduit F3 from FWC. A suitably intimidating black robe is in the works.
