Ferrari 312P Engine Overhauled Thanks to 3D Printing

Voxeljet has used 3D printing to help overhaul the engine of a Ferrari 312P. Normally this would take over a year, but they were able to do it in just a few weeks. They created a cast of the engine, using 3D scanning technology and 3D printed it. It was then sent off for the casting process, and they have successfully restored the engine.
