3D Printer Auto Resume Printing possibilities?

Are there any possibilities for me to improve the feature of this printer such as 3D Printer Auto Resume Printing? Based on my experience using Aurora 3D Printer Z605, it was so annoying especially when the printer got power off while printing process is still running because the power plant has to shut down. Imagine the process took for hours (i.e. 5 hours) and after 2 hours, the printer suddenly get shut down. That situation makes me to put away the melted PLA to trash bin because the printing process have to start from 0% again. Have anyone try to modify the firmware to build that feature? The feature that make 3D Printer can resume the printing process after get powered on.
