3D Printed Sports Equipment Could be an Incredibly Disruptive Technology

Howard Brodwin of Sports and Social Change says his firm was part of a group who began to examine opportunities involving 3D printing for athletes with disabilities. The group, which included collaborators the Anderson Strategy Group and the UCLA Anderson School of Management, created a a 14-week-long research project that explored business solutions to address the high cost of adaptive sports equipment built with 3D printing.
