I currently have a makerbot replicator v1 that I have been assigned to fix. The issue with it is a blown out 5v regulator. I can disconnect the pins, but the regulator itself is stuck to the board and there are no solder points on the back. I believe there is adhesive or a trace connector behind it, but does anyone know for sure or has anyone replaced their regulator before?
