Flsun delta mini not recognizing gecode commands (and other problems)

I have a flsun delta mini and the carriage was damaged, so I printed a different design with a endstop auto-leveling mount. the mount had it so that the switch was always triggered except for when it hit the bed so I needed to change the firmware. when I tried uploading marlin 2.0.4 with the example file for my flsun delta mini it wouldn't work, giving me errors about timing out with the printer, I had all the settings correct so I tried with my laptop, and for some reason, it worked, but when I tried changing some settings and uploading again. it gave the same timing out errors. now that i have the updated firmware, I try the delta calibration, but it only goes about halfway down the height before probing. another problem is that when i tried to do some gecode commands like bed leveling and other things, almost all commands were "unkown". only a couple worked (like home and basic commads)
