Let's discuss about the Brands. [Hi all, I just found the forum and happy to join in]

I still remember the first time I heard of Makerbot in 2012. At that time, I was looking for any 3D printer available in China, and found a Makerbot-clone Flashforge.
Well, I told myself, it's cheap and available immediately, so just use it.

In 2013 I decided to build my own 3D printer, I could only found a name " MakerThink", though there are more "maker" and more "bot" flooding to the market.
I have to say I always want to get a better brand name, but that's the best one I can get with an available .com domain.

So, do you think "maker" in the brand name looks like a copycat or not? That's what confusing me for a long time. Hope to hear your ideas.
