The Intertwine Vase - Water your flowers from a new perspective

An University of Lincoln (England) assignment to create a brand of 3D printed products that targets a certain demographic has blossomed into "Entangle" product line. Entangle is inspired by natural design patterns, and Daniel Lane has contributed quite an intriguing piece to this collection of 3D printed luxury housewares. The "Intertwine" vase is both sophisticated and functional: its body is formed by overlapping tubes or strands that appear delicate but are quite strong, and the water flows through the hollow strands from the top of the vase and down towards the water retainer. This eliminates the need to remove flowers when topping off water, while also serving as a great display of 3D printed design concepts in action, as it was created via stereolithography technology by iMaterialise using their clear resin.
