Help making your own custom 3D printer

Hi All I am new to the forum. I have been printing with a flashforge finder for a while and have though that I can do a lot better making my own 3D printer. I would like to customize so many components. Not sure where to begin? Is there a list of companies or individuals in the US that can help me? I went to Freelancer and Fivver and as usual the quality is bad and so are the prices. Lol.I am looking to collude with someone on a new design that is very different. I just need someone that I can trust to work with me on this and in the USA!I am skilled in Arduino, python etc. Also know a bit about patents and a fair amount about amazon. I believe if I can get this proto-typed, the market is roughly 30-50,000 units a year. The trick is getting it proto=type, crowd funding and patenting. Need some help...Best Regards
