Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare to feature a 3D-Printer Rifle

You thought 3D printed guns were scary? How about a gun that can 3D print its own bullets? That's one of the new weapons in the upcoming video game, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. The game features a gun that is loaded with a liquid. It then prints out its own ammunition. Of course its only a video game that is predicting a possible future of weaponry, but it certainly could one day be a reality. Well not as long as we are using explosives as a means of propelling bullets.

also there is literally no upside unless you can print out of nothing which will decrease the volume consumed by ammunition.

well given the fact that caseless bullets already exist.
It's doable.
Not sure how practical it would be, but yep - not impossible.
