Jump Trading Center Has Heart Library with 40 3D Printed Models

We hear of 3D printed models being used quite often in medicine, but this is the first time we seen a collection of this size, with over 40 heart models so far at the heart library at Jump Trading Center of OSF Saint Francis Medical Center. They are able to use the models for a wide range of exercises—all of which benefit everyone greatly all around. With the use of the 3D printed heart models, surgeons are able to make better diagnoses, plan treatment, as well as practice for surgeries and use the models in the operating room to navigate through procedures.
