Printing like a champ so far. Got the gantry aligned and upgrade on the firmware and off to the races. I'll run it for a while and then switch it over to the Flexion extruders and then I can start to play with the exotic stuff! A whole new headache!

I am very happy with the results from the QIDI Tech-1. That was a long print at 100 microns and no problems - and all via USB and my remote setup.
I guess this really proves up the remote setup. I've been running two to three printers at a time from S3D via USB and my remote setup. It has been working well.
Yea, I know but I was really just wanting to see how it handled it. It was just an experiment to see how the printer did and I was also curious to see how the object would come out at that resolution. I might try another at a different resolution to see what the difference is, for fun that is and to learn.
Good tips though, thanks.
The slicer will adjust the plastic volume for the different layer height. The problem with anything over .3 or even .3 is it is approaching the nozzle size so the "ropes" coming out lay down more round. I try not to do anything over .24 for shells with a .4 nozzle. But infill doesn't matter. That's one reason why I suggest 160 micron, because doing infill every other layer at 160 means infill is laid down at 320 which is well within the capabilities of a .4 nozzle. If you do .24 layers or .2 layers then every other is .4 and .48, which wont work well with a .4 nozzle.
