Just finished modeling all the piece parts and have the fun task of joining everything and making it 3d printable.
Also haven't decided what final pose I will be using: combat ready strike a pose or action pose.

In the printer now. Printing at about 12 inches tall for the final model in seven pieces.
Printing complete. Once the glue dries I'll primer the model and start deciding on the paint scheme.
About 80 hours to print in 7 pieces. Final model is about 12 inches tall. Many, many errors in the model and print but overall pretty happy with it. Joining my menagerie of print models.
Would love to see what cool models you all are working on.
Quick little project I made this morning. Oni half mask.
I'll print at some point.
Made the walls too thin in some areas which left some small holes in the mask (can be easily fixed with epoxy). Finished printing anyway so I could see how it fit with my measurements.
The mask fits great and the wall issue has been fixed in the 3d model if I ever print it again. Now going into my ever expanding list of prints I need to paint.
Going to the printer now. Printing it 6 inch tall so splitting it into two parts.
Attention to detail folks! I got none. lol
I somehow printed the wrong version of the model but was saved because the wife loved it. This was the first iteration before I started finalizing the model. But now she wants a whole family of mushrooms. So back to the digital workshop to morph my model for further variations.
Okay, now for real. Here is the evil vampire mushroom. Still needs sanding and priming.
Happy printing everyone.
Still learning how to play this but a fun design. Whistle original design by Bluebear flutes but the embellishment is one of my cnc patterns.
Just some easy digital sculpting practice and gift for the wife. In the printer now. This might make a fun leather stamp. :)
Straight from the printer. Still haven't cleaned it up and primed but really like the model. Printed at about 4.5 inches tall at about 14 hours to print.
An experiment. Using a nested cube in a cube for the base geometry. So a total of 12 faces and then applied multiple modifiers to finally end up with the artsy egg piece. So created parametrically.
Its in the printer now. CURA says 23.5 hours to print at 6 inches tall. No supports so hoping it actually prints. Again a fun experiment. Trying to learn what you can do with FDM 3d printing.
Took a little longer to print, 24 1/2 hours but it printed with minimal issues. Love it. I will be cleaning it up and then I have to figure out what color I want to it.
My quick design. Most surprisingly is it works if thrown correctly. Now need to practice with it.
Folks, I know you all are printing cool stuff. I have been posting for a while so would love to see what you are all doing. Post a pic of your projects.
