i have the first firmware
When you first turn on 3D Printer what temperature reading do you have for your Hot-end and Hot-Bed.
357 for hot end 22 for bed
Thermister is shorted with a reading 310 °C or higher.
I would suspect that the Thermister is shorted unplug and measure the resistance of the thermister at room temperature Post resistance.
With Hot-end Thermister unplugged from controller board again turn on 3D Printer and post reading.
so i lossened the bolt that was holding the thermistor and plugged it back in and it is reading 26 also it is putting out filament now
the filament did not look very melted though
i have only had one filament it is solutech it is around a year old and was stored on the printer the hot end was set to 220
Then if it does not look very melted it must not be PLA what filament type are you printing with.
Have you tried to print a Temp Tower to determine what temperature it print best at.
