Thanks Geoff
Look at that, joined the forum and within minutes its paying off.!
For those looking for a Windows 8.1 installer of Makerware http://www.3bfab.com/3d-akademi/download-center
-Make sure Windows driver signature enforcement is off before installing http://www.howtogeek.com/167723/how-...igned-drivers/
If it's telling you it won't install because it doesn't have a certificate, turn off 8.1's certificate enforcement. Instructions here:

Hello Geoff,
Do you happen to know where I can get a 32bit version of Makerware?
I do have the 64bit version on my work laptop but I thought it would be good to have software on a dedicated laptop but its using XP on a 32bit HP.
Thanks for any help you may provide.
I'm using a Flashforge Creator Pro.

Urgh. I just installed this and I'm missing the icons (for scaling, turning, choosing which extruder to use, etc). What went wrong, am I missing something?
erm...i might ask smt stupid now..but how im supposed to save an x3g? i mean in my case the MAKE button doesnt seem to wrk( n all other versions of their software dont launch on my Win7 woteva i do...
makerware automatically generates x3g files.
think it's all it does, certainly the early versions.
I've never had any problems with windows 7 - all I've ever used on the cad machine.
so which version and install are you using ?
