Just noticed a co-worker downloaded the latest desktop, and there are no helper disks in the examples menu..... wha-happen?

Just noticed a co-worker downloaded the latest desktop, and there are no helper disks in the examples menu..... wha-happen?

Makerbot deleted those a few releases ago, as part of their on-going campaign to make their machines less useful. Easy enough to fix by creating a disk in whatever CAD package you have, or downloading one from Thingiverse.
We use this thingiverse file now for helper disks, works pretty well: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:346317
