Turning a Simple Scooter Into a Rad Snow Scooter with 3D Printing

Steve Wood is no stranger to the 3D print world, having contributed designs for 3D printed flexible prosthetic hands and insoles--to name a few. But it wasn't until his son's sled broke and a winter storm was upon them that he innovated a part (shoe) that turns a scooter into a snow scooter. He ended up with a "twin hull style sled" with two parallel tracks cutting into the snow and providing stability, while also addressing the problem of turning. Wood's snow scooter shoe is inserted in place of traditional scooter wheels, and it should fit most scooters on the market.
