Ultra Clean Holdings Announces Their Entrance Into 3D Printing Space

With the acquisition of privately held Prototype Asia LLC, another manufacturing company is entering the 3D printing world: Ultra Clean Holdings, Inc. has announced plans to open a 3D printing service and will launch a new Additive Manufacturing Center in Singapore. Expected to become operational in the first quarter of 2015, the new 3D Printing Center will house several types of 3D printing technologies and will become the largest such center in Southeast Asia. UCT expects the expansion into additive manufacturing to broaden their participation in the aerospace, medical equipment, machinery, computers, electronics, and semiconductor industries.
