Researchers Use Desktop 3D Printer to Create Hard Tissue Implants

Well, that is just what researchers at Vilnius University have done, and have thus released a research report on 3DPrint.com. The process uses the 3D Printer, stem cells, and laser microfabrication to create custom fitted implants made from actual cells, which degrade within the body within a couple of years.
