Slicer Settings for Transparent Faceplate

Hi, I am making a faceplate for a box that has foot switches, for controlling fx for my guitar. See the pic (you stomp on a foot switch and changes some of the effects). My design idea is to use transparent PLA (I have a roll of SUNLU transparent); and to print (2D card stock with ink) labels that will (hopefully) "show thru" the faceplate. My current "old skewl" design approach is to tape printed (2D card stock with ink) labels on the box. See the pic. QUESTION: Since the faceplate itself is maybe 5mm thick...... what are the best settings..... in my slicer, to get the most transparency that will allow me to see through the faceplate to the labels? My current settings have the infill pattern messing up the transparency. cut a piece of plexiglass/Lexan and forget about printing it, you will not be able to see through 5mm .
