Layer separation problem

I am trying to print an object that is basically a cylinder. The walls are 2mm thick and I am printing at .2 layer height. About 12mm from the base, the layers are separating and I am getting something that looks like a closed down slinky.

Bed temp is 90 and print temp is 220 for ABS.

I was trying to print a pair of the objects, so the printer is doing a layer on one object, then going to the other one, doing a layer and then returning to the first.

Any suggestions to correct the problem would be appreciated.

220 can be fine for abs with certain hot ends but for most these days that have a heater block that holds a cartridge style heater 240-245 would be better for most abs.

Open or closed chambers? Single wall Abs prints can be tough on an open printer. Make sure you have no drafts and bump up the temps in 5 degree increments.
