Segway begins using 3D printing to make custom parts for vehicles

We all have seen Segways before. You know those 2-wheeled scooter like vehicles that ride around airports and shopping malls.... Well they have just announced a partnership with Marubeni Information Systems, to start using 3D printing to create customizations for clients. This means the will be able to 3D print smartphone and tablet holds to meet your needs, or even custom lighting around the wheels. The possibilities are really endless. I wonder how much longer until we begin to see car manufacturers begin to allow for customizations via 3d printing.
