Vincent van Gogh's Ear 3D Printed

Talk about an amazing piece of art. An America artist named Diemut Strebe has 3D printed Vincent Van Goghs cut off ear. Not out of plastic, but out of human cells. Not any human cells, but cells which have his van Gogh's own DNA in them. The incredible piece is on display in Germany as we speak.

Vincent Van Gogh, the painter, didn't have children though.

He was never married, but if I'm remembering right, he had at least one son with a prostitute who changed her name after Van Gough died.

Not quite. The cells are from Lieuwe van Gogh, who is the great-great-grandson of Theo Van Gogh, Vincent's younger brother.
