LPW Technology has released a new case study regarding a problem with metal powder M300 that they were investigating. Two batches showed parts exhibiting micro-cracking with variances in silicone and manganese. The research team pointed out that boron was the ‘outlier’ and began to examine that further as well as creating a revised alloy specification.
