3D Printed China at the Smithsonian

3D printing is on display front and center currently at the Arthur M. Sackler Gallery at the Smithsonian Institution. Miller 3D and Alfred University came together on the project as the university reached out for help in having the pieces reproduced from replicas themselves. The 3D printed pieces required great attention to detail, both during the printing process and the finishing. ‘Chinamania’ is now on display at the Arthur M.
