3D Systems has just made a big announcement for both medical professionals and those faced with jaw replacement surgery. As the Jaw in a Day process is added to their 3D Systems Virtual Surgical Planning Reconstruction product line, both patients and surgeons can look forward to jaw replacements that happen in just one surgery. Surgeons are able to plan out a completely patient-specific plan prior to the surgery, thanks to digital design and 3D printing, which is used for all the devices guiding the surgery.
