Schench Survey Shows Wisconsin Not Using Much Robotics or 3D Printing

In a recent survey by Schenck, one of the nation’s top 50 full-service CPA and consulting firms, they polled respondents in Wisconsin to see how many were using robotics in their manufacturing operations, and if so what the benefits were and if not, why. A whopping 70% stated that they were not using robotics, but 17% plan to start using the technology in the next one to three years. Those who are using it stated numerous positive benefits from increased productivity to reduced costs. Respondents were polled about 3D printing too, with one sixth stating that they are not using it currently, and with one-sixth saying they plan to within the next three years.
