Sanofi Genzyme Partners with Maker Faire Rome for 3D Printing Competition

Biotech company Sanofi Genzyme specializes in the development of treatments and therapies for debilitating diseases like the one affecting six-year-old Roberta, whose father spent two years developing a brace that would allow her to be more comfortable with the rare genetic disorder spinal muscular atrophy. Inspired by Roberta's father's work, Sanofi has partnered up with Maker Faire Rome to launch the Make to Care competition, which calls for makers to develop ideas for the purpose of easing the lives of those with disabilities.
