3D Builder Hard at Work Constructing 3D Printed Landscape House

The 3D Builder is currently at work on its first project—for which it was specifically designed—in the form of the Landscape House, an architectural design inspired by the Möbius Strip. Conceptualized by Janjaap Ruijssenaars and his Rotterdam-based firm, Universe Architecture, the design is meant to invoke the feeling of infinity and endless travel within the 3D printed house. While it is a groundbreaking innovation in itself, so is the 3D Builder which prints in stone and concrete and can move from site to site as a robot, thanks to caterpillar-like treads.
