Airbus Unveils Thor, 3D Printed UAV

At a recent press event, Airbus has unveiled Thor, a fully 3D printed unmanned aircraft vehicle (UAV). Currently still under testing, Thor has already succeeded in flying 40 km between the German cities Hamburg and Stade. Composed of around 50 3D printed parts, the UAV weighs about 25 kg and has a length and wingspan of four meters.
