Shapeways Designers Create 3D Printed Porcelain Tile Selfies

3D printing with ceramics has already taken a new turn thanks to two designers from Shapeways who enjoy working with porcelain so much that they created something new altogether just for fun. Using a celadon glaze, they’ve found a way to transfer images onto 3D printed porcelain tiles. These standard tiles can then be used as decorative accents in the kitchen or bathroom.
