Hosting 3D Print Bazaar

Greetings,

Rutgers University is looking into the possibility of hosting a 3D Printing Bazaar where vendors and companies would be invited to set up a booth to demonstrate and sell their 3D printed products. We were thinking of something along the lines of the specialty companies that produce customized video game avatars, movie characters, and city skylines and other such novelty items.

My question is, are there any companies that do this type of 3D printing and are there companies that will travel to participate in these events?

Let me know because I am way out of my element here.
