Australia Pushes Stem Agenda for Youngsters Infusing Millions into Programs

Australia is beginning a serious push for the STEM agenda in their country--and this includes the required infusion of cash, to the tune of $48 million designated for literacy programs, and another $13 million designed to encourage women to seek out STEM-oriented careers. Although they are entering this ‘race’ somewhat behind other countries like the US and China, Australia is starting with the right idea, not panicking students, but rather beginning the training early on and integrating it into every grade level, from playing in kindergarten, to independently designing and building out robots in high school, along with a wide range of 3D design and 3D printing programs--and labs--sprouting up all over the country.
