Airbus A350 XWB Planes Planes Not Using 3D Printed Parts

Materialise, which became certified to manufacture airworthy additive manufactured end-use parts for aircraft earlier this year, announced today that they have begun supplying 3D printed plastic parts for Airbus' A350 XWB jetliners. The A350 XWB has made the news a lot lately for its aggressive pursuit of the newest manufacturing technologies, especially 3D printing.
