Orbbec's Astra 3D Camera

The Orbbec Persee 3D camera-computer has made a splash on Indiegogo, where it has more than doubled its funding goal in only a week. To encourage the development of 3D applications, they have released an open source software development kit (SDK) on GitHub. The Orbbec Astra SDK is available for Windows and OS X, and the creative coding framework Processing.org, they will also be releasing support for Linux and Android operating systems, as well as openFrameworks, Unity 3D, and Cinder frameworks.
