Art & 3D Selfies -- Chris Buck's 3D Printed Selfie Art

Celebrity photographer Chris Buck has come up with an infinitely more entertaining update on his whereabouts than that boring Facebook status. He has taken to Instagram with photos of a 3D printed mini-me/selfie figurine. The best part of all this is that each place we see his miniature guy in, we think of five more he hasn't been to yet! Scanned and printed by DOOB, this idea will no doubt get more popular as more people catch on to 3D printed selfies. But Buck's "Likeness" project will be remembered as one of the pioneering attempts to capture our changing technological climate and artistic media.
