Materialise Introduces Laser Sintered Wood

Today, Materialise has unveiled their new selective laser sintered wood material. The material, which is made up of powdered wood, is currently available as a test product. The company is opening a new challenge for designers, asking them to create the best 3D printed wood products they can. The challenge will run until June 14 and the top 5 products will be printed and shipped to their designers. This will allow Materialise to fine tune the printing process.
