Researchers in Singapore Come up with Super Conductive Filament

A group of researchers based in Singapore at A*STAR's Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (IMRE) have formulated a new 3D printable filament which is a composite of PLA and carbon powder. They claim that its one of the most conductive filaments in existence and are now seeking industrial partners who can help them bring the filament to market. The researchers claim that by 3D printing circuits with this new material, it ends up being faster, cheaper, and safer than traditional circuit manufacturing via etching and soldering.
