Leonidas, A 3D Printed Robot Win Prize for Group of New York Students

The RoboSpartans are made up of a group of students from three area schools in New Hartford, NY. They have embraced their geek status as well as that of winners due to their skill in electronics. This was recently demonstrated with their 3D printed robot, Leonidas, which not only shows their skill in robotics but also artistic style as well, as they imbued the robot with their team symbols such as the Spartan helmet and the cut brush. Leonidas recently won the robotics team the PTC Design Award, due to the simple and unique design. They will, later this month, move on to the FTC World Championship.
