Action Me - 3D Print Yourself as an Action Figure

3D for US has launched a Kickstarter campaign for a new type of 3D printed figurine. Using images, they are able to use image reconstruction to make detailed 3D images that are used for 3D models. The heads themselves are composed of a sandstone material which lends itself proficiently to the color 3D printing. The figure’s bodies, composed of a resin base, actually have 30 articulated parts and can be made to stand, sit, or look active in a multitude of positions.
