Hi All,
I’ve got a question for you.
I’m very very very new to 3d printing and had a great idea for 3d printing.
Without revealing to much of my idea… Does someone know if there is a filiment that shrinks on purpose and gets stiff over a short period of time. (think of heat shrinking, water shrinking or similar.)

lol abs shrinks by one percent when it cools.
Do you mean like shrink wrapping ?
In which case if it was heat activated it'd shrink when you extruded it.
There are materials with mixed content like porolay that get porous when you put it in water.
But an actual shrinking plastic that shrinks after it's extruded - doesn't ring any bells.
But that just means someone's working on it lol
Give it a week and there'll be one on acrowd funding site somewhere.
I don't know of one. Most people want their parts to be dimensionally stable.
