3D Systems Gets Ready for 3DPrintWeek

3D Print Week NY looms on the horizon for April 13-17, and 3D Systems plans to be there in full force, representing their Cubify platform with a ‘Pop Up Shop’ at the Jacob Javits Center from April 16-17 during the 3D Print Design Show. They will also be hosting a ‘Designing the Future’ competition starting today that benefits the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum. Entrants are challenged to create innovative home and décor items with 3D design and 3D printing, and the winner will be promoted on the Cubify platform with the winning designs being sold as limited editions and benefitting the museum. The winner also receives a Cube 3D printer. As all the festivities and excitement conclude, 3DS will also be offering a children’s introductory 3D printing workshop on April 18 at the Cooper Hewitt Design Center in Harlem.
