Dubai to Construct "Museum of The Future" Using 3D Printing Techniques

Dubai is one of the fastest growing cities in one of the fastest growing countries in the world. Under the leadership of forward-looking Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, a new 'Museum of the Future' has been announced for Dubai, and it's set to open by 2017. The museum constitutes a $136 million plan with a museum, innovation lab, and invention hub, and advanced 3D printing construction techniques will be used to build the uniquely shaped structure. The entire contents of the museum will be changed out twice a year, and always looking a decade ahead.
