FirstBuild & Thingiverse Countertop Challenge

MakerBot Thingiverse and FirstBuild have teamed up on to present their Countertop Challenge. Their challenging 3D designers to come up with innovative ways to organize the kitchens of the future, particularly that space between the countertop and the bottom of the upper kitchen cabinets. Designs should be 3D printed and can be automated. Prizes include MakerBot 3D Printers and filament. The Countertop Challenge ends on March 14, 2015 and winners are announced on April 20. The contest website includes designs that have already been submitted as well as rules and instructions.
