EnvisionTEC and 3Shape are Now 3D Printign Drill Guides for Dental Use

3Shape, a Danish company focusing on high-tech solutions for the dental field, has recently teamed up with Germany-based EnvisionTEC, which also maintains a US HQ in Michigan, to produce drill guides for dental surgery. Using 3Shape's Implant Studio software, STL files of drill guides suited to specific patients' implant needs can be created. The drill guides are then printed using Clear Guide material on EnvisionTEC's desktop Perfactory Micro DGP (Drill Guide Printer).
