Cyark and Artec Team to Preserve Cultural Heritage Via 3D Scaning and Printing

CyArk and Artec are working together to preserve the cultural heritage of the world. Employing Artec’s powerful handheld 3D scanning equipment, the two companies are collaborating on CyArk’s 500 Challenge. Featuring sites such as the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Pompeii, and Mt. Rushmore, 150 sites have been nominated, and 60 have been preserved so far using 3D scanning for digital preservation which will be available in an online free library.
