3D Systems Locks Up 2 Key Contracts

America Makes and the Air Force Research Laboratory are driving forces behind the adoption of additive manufacturing and 3D printing technologies, and the organizations have just award a pair of contracts worth more than $1 million to 3D Systems to advance the state of the art. Both contracts are related to developing metal printing technology, and the projects will be undertaken in conjunction with a group of contractors and university researchers.
